Tapia Park to Kanan Dume

The course of our adventure will wind us through colorful stretches of dramatic pinnacles and sun-soaked ridges that offer spectacular views of the Pacific thousands of feet below.

Navigate around the rim of Malibu Canyon as it carves its way through the Santa Monica Mountains and marks the boundary between the eastern and western half of the range.

Catch the spirit of historic Hollywood as you gaze upon the beautiful rolling backcountry that served as the 20th Century Fox filming location for a myriad of movies and television shows.

Scramble up large rock formations and explore the curious caves that are carved into the sandstone. Return home revived and inspired by the beautiful scenery, incredible people, and fun times you experienced along the way.

To learn more about what is provided in each of our adventures, please visit our All Inclusive Page.

The Woolsey Fire burned roughly 30 miles of the Backbone Trail and devastated more acres within the Santa Monica Mountains than any other fire in recorded history. This section of the Backbone Trail has unfortunately been impacted and continues to heal and regrow. The Trail Magic Adventures’ team has been donating funds along with man-power to help rebuild the many trail systems and communities that have been destroyed. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time of renewal and restoration. If you would like to help in the recovery effort, please visit the Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council and the SAMO Fund to look at volunteer opportunities.
