Trippet Ranch to Tapia Park
Explore one of the most rugged and dramatic canyons in all of the Santa Monica Mountains on this three-day journey along the trail. Rolling meadows lead into deep woodlands with rich vegetation as hikers ascend Hondo Canyon. Adventurers are rewarded with impressive cliffs and beautiful rock formations along the purple gorge.
Stand on top of one of the highest summits in the range and take in a panorama of indigo blue leading into miles of coastline. Saddle Peak will also grant a bird’s eye view of the City of Angels surrounded by endless valleys and distant mountain ranges stretching out into the horizon.
An abundant rock garden of pinnacles and crags leads hikers into remote upland canyons surrounded by beautiful peaks. The trip culminates with a recap of stories amongst new and old friends along with a group celebration of an accomplishment well earned.
